'Beginning' of the Story

Hi dear, not sure whether you would find my story interesting. The heroine of the story has found it okay herself, I mean so so! But let me know what you think. Sorry I am talking too much...It starts here,

SHE was working during her summer vacation at the resort. Her bluish eyes were conveying her shock to see me single there... In fact it is unusual for loners to come here, such a romantic escape. And I discovered later, how shocking it can be to cruise some waters lone!

I could manage only a week's holiday from my mission in Africa this summer and decided to spend the time at this lovely North African coastal castle town on mediterranean sea.

I was enjoying the setting sun on the calm med and the intimate celebrations of the romance around by the love birds, human ones, albeit furtively! I didn't notice her while she was standing beside me. 'Sorry, are you alone?' I was not expecting such direct question, in fact there was a culture shock. And she was looking straight into my eyes.

Well yes, I have come here alone, I stammered literally. I was hesitating to invite her to sit on the sand as she was expecting one, apparently. But she took the cue and sat besides me. She finished the day's rooster and decided to solved a mystery. She told me she was following me for the last couple of days as it was quite a mystery to her finding a young man alone at her resort!

I was searching for words in front of this stunning moor beauty. I was often becoming confined to her eyes-live mediterranean tapestry! She understood and smiled generously to remind me, there are more ammunition in the arsenal to trap a poor catch! It was already bleeding in there!

'Why are you alone?' Well I heard about this place a lot and had a week's holiday only to go far from my job. So just came here and so I am here. 'Oh that's great. Her English was better than that of others here. French is their official language but being an English graduate student, her English was quite fluent. When she heard I am also an English graduate, she started to ask me a lot of questions, about my favorite genre, writer, why Lawrence is so unfair with women...

I was answering her but became already obsessed with something else rather talking about lifeless fiction! The beauty of the sea had brought me an eerie kind of empty feeling during my stay here. But suddenly it seemed things have appeared complete...

But only for a few seconds.

A fear, a sense of loss gripped me swiftly... this evening might remain the best thing in life. I will lose something with the rising sun tomorrow. Everything was happening at a head spinning speed.

I am not sure how she read my loss stricken eyes. She asked me, stopping her never ending queries, what happened, tell me the truth. She outright grabbed my right hand and started nudging me to answer! I became nervous. Her way of talking had already injected anesthetic insensibility into my veins and her touch made the situation clinically critical...

Well I will miss this place, so feeling sad, I replied. She did not ask for more but it was clear she was not happy with the answer. Perhaps she wanted to hear it clear about the persons and objects here, I will miss!

It was already dark out there and she stood up to go home.
'Well thanks for your time.' When she heard I was leaving the next day, she was apparently bit upset, looked confused and perplexed. I asked for her messenger id. She gave it to me in a robotic way. She seemed trying to gather herself from a sudden sense of loss! I was not in a better position either. Returned to room hurriedly to avoid her eyes, in case she looks back! The following night was the emptiest one, naturally.

...

Her id does not work, by the way! Did she give me wrong id? No, actually I don't need it anymore! She lives with me...now.

Hows that happened? Oh that is a different story all together! Wait patiently and wish me, I may get sometime soon to tell you that. Until then keep things to yourself. And promise me you will never tell my mom any part of this and the next story anytime soon!

Okay then bye for now.

A Great Journey of a Little Lad…

Aunt called me today evening, doctor told her, Abir did not need to visit him anymore. I felt much relieved. For the last three months we all were worried about her eight years old son; my little cousin Abir. It all started when we both had an eventful visit at a special place. But the succeeding months were more eventful. My uncle (my dad's cousin) and my aunt, both are employees of multinational companies. And their only son is the center of all their happiness. They always pamper him. Abir goes to one of the most expensive schools in Dhaka, gets everything from his parents; a child can imagine but remains confined in his little room except the school times. Lately he seemed lost his calm even with me-his best friend without any apparent reason. He couldn't tolerate home helps who usually took his care. His parents became worried for the change. But they failed to find any problem. One Saturday I proposed him to go with me somewhere unlike parks. He already lost his interest ...

Studying Literature and Falling in Love!

"He was a medical student. One day, in his practical anatomy class, he found the fresh body he was going to dissect was his fiancée's…" "Then? What happened next?" You know what happened or might happen if it were you! "You are spoilt! Literature has spoilt you. Better not talking to you." He departs. My brother, whom I was talking to, is a bright medical student, argues often with me why I don't get good grades. I am studying literature. Not only my brother, all of my peers have been getting great good grades in their respective subjects. And me; engaged in an eternal romance escaping from study! Or really do I? Yes I call it romance. What else? When I read the poems by Keats written after being inspired by the Greek classical literature, I can identify myself and remain engrossed by it. The worlds of the Keats' Odes become mine when I read those. Though I don't possess the mastery over words like him to express my feelings, I feel the g...
